LODGE

The lodge accommodations offer a rustic, comfortable place for the guests to relax, after a long day on the water. The lodge and cabins afford a spectacular view of the lake. The 1200 square foot lodge houses the kitchen and main dining area. The owner having fished and visited lodges on a number of Northern Saskatchewan's lakes,was consistently drawn back to this area.

SETTING

The owner/operator of this lodge has spent decades in Saskatchewan's north. He is a commercial pilot, with over twenty-five years of experience in the tourism industry. He has built and operated, as well as managed a number of lodges in Saskatchewan, giving him a valuable insight into what guests to the far north need, expect and deserve.

Many guests of the lodge have fished these waters for a number of years in a row, many have already booked for next year and have no plans to go elsewhere. As a matter of fact there are some fisherman who actually leave their fishing gear at the lodge knowing full well they will be back. Approx 80% of this year's guests are the result of returning guests.

ACCOMODATIONS

Consist of five cozy cabins, each with private bathroom and shower. Cabins vary in size, sleeping anywhere from two to six guests. The emphasis at this lodge was to offer comfortable accommodation and a complete wilderness fishing experience to the guests of the lodge. The owner wanted the guests to have the best fishing that they can offer in an intimate and comfortable setting. To him it was important for guests to feel at home in this wilderness paradise.

Located in Saskatchewan, Canada's pristine northland, with minimal angling pressure, the lodge presents anglers with the opportunity to experience the fishing trip of a lifetime, in a spectacular wilderness setting.

Generally thePike range in size from 20 to 35 and good opportunities exist to catch large specimens from the 35 to 45 range including colossal Northern Pike up to 50Lake Trout are typically in the 8 to 12 lb. range and an average fisherman can expect to catch laker's in the 20 to 25 lb. range. Many are caught every year in the 30 to 40 lb. range with somelunkers in the 40 lb. plus range.Trophies are abundant on this lake. In addition to the main lake, guests can hike a shortdistanceto fish an additional 3 lakes and 2 rivers.This is a land with endless expanses of water, rivers, glacial eskers, caribou trails and boreal forest.

The owner wanting to offer his clientele even more high quality angling options. Now, with access to the vibrant Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Walleye, and Arctic Grayling population swimming within the waters of this world-famous fishery, the lodge visitors can be assured of simply, "the angling experience of a lifetime.

EQUIPMENT

Guests of the lodge fish in well-maintained and equipped Lund boats, built to take on big water ensuring safe travel wherever the trophy fishing or hunting will take them.
