The Lodge is nestled in the trees on one of over
3400 of the islands that inhabit the Lake. In
addition to the cabins, the Lodge also has 10
available hotel rooms. The Lodge offers
accommodations tailored to fishermen's needs.
Feature rustic, hand hewn log cabins available
with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. The main lodge has a
large dining room and game room with satellite
TV. All of the guest's meals are provided during
their stay, with breakfast and dinner served in
the dining room, and a shore lunch while
fishing.
For a little unwinding after a day's fishing,
the lodge offers a recreational area equipped
with a billiard table and satellite television.
Cabins
Cabins are conveniently located near the
lodge and the dock for easy access. Each cabin has a
fully furnished living room and bathroom. Bedrooms
feature 2 single beds.
Fishing
A wide variety of fishing hot spots throughout the
lake. Whether the guests prefer Walleye, Northern
Pike, Lake Trout or World Class Brook Trout, they
are abundant in this lake. And there's plenty of
scenery to keep your eyes, and cameras busy. This
remote part of Northern Manitoba is a great place to
get away from it all and enjoy what nature has to
offer. Only a select few destinations in Canada can
offer you the variety of fish species which inhabit
the waters of this Lake and River.
Location
300 air miles northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba and
bordering Ontario to the east, the Lake is situated
in the center of Canada's lake filled heartland.
Flights depart Winnipeg 3 times daily, so the lodge
can cater to most any scheduling needs. If the
guests plan to fly to the lodge in their own
aircraft, they have access to a 4,000 x 100 foot
crushed stone runway (12/30) with an NDB approach.
The Lake
The body of water is over 60 miles long, 40 miles
wide and is dotted with more than 3,400 islands.
This is the only Lodge operating on this lake.
Accessible only by air, there are no roads into this
remote area. This Lake is truly one of the few
natural realms remaining in North America.
