The Lodge is situated on Deeded
property...rare for a fly-in resort and over
100 Miles from the nearest paved road giving
the guests the quality angling that'll bring
them back year after year! The guest
accomodations include ten individual cabins.
Each of these cabins has electricity, a
private bathroom with shower and new
carpeting. Comfortable beds with Canadian
Hudson Bay blankets and individual heaters
for warmth make the Canadian nights cozy and
warm in this wilderness paradise.
The many rapids and waterfalls offer endless
opportunities for anglers to explore. The
cool waters create game fish of unparalleled
fighting spirit and energy! The Lake offers
diversified structure of cabbage beds,
boulder strewn drop offs, hundreds of
islands and depths of over 120 feet making
this Lake a Fish Factory for trophy fish
with fabulous tasting Walleye and tackle
breaking Northern Pike.
The constant flow of fresh water through the
Lake and its adjoining waters, provides a
constant source of food and oxygen. As a
result, river Walleye and Northern are less
affected by changing water systems than
"lake" Walleye are. The natural cooling and
rich oxygen of these waters assures great
fishing each and every day of the season.
This resort experiences none of the hot
weather slack periods, common to calm water
lakes.
Guests will discover the superb scenery,
quiet serenity and phenomenal fishing that
only Manitoba can offer on this magnificent
Lake.
THE OUTPOSTS
All Outpost locations are within a 30 mile
radius of the Lodge. The Outpost Camps are
AIR ACCESS ONLY! Situated over 100 miles
from any paved highways, you are assured of
a true remote fishing experience at each
location. Each Outpost is the only cabin on
the lake.
All Outpost Camps are equipped with propane
lights, refrigerator, stove, freezer and
bar-b-que; wood heat; all cooking utensils,
boats, motors and mixed gas. Outpost
locations are equipped with hot and cold
running water with showers - all for a
comfortable vacation in the Canadian
wilderness. Sites are equipped with radio
telephone service and will hold between 6
and 10 people.
The Lodge owns and operates a Cessna 180
aircraft on floats for servicing the outpost
locations. The plane is based at the lodge
and is used daily for checking the Outpost
Camps. If the guests are considering an
outpost experience, they owe it to
themselves to fish at one of the wilderness
fly-in lakes!
THE LOCATION
The beautiful shores of the mighty River
System is the lakeside setting for this
Lodge. The River is world renowned for its
majestic rapids and breathtaking waterfalls.
Here lies a seemingly endless waterway,
teeming with some of the best Walleye and
Northern Pike fishing the guests of this
resort will ever experience.
THE EQUIPMENT
The lodge has new 16 foot Lund boats each
equipped with new, dependable 20 HP Mariner
and Mercury motors with swivel boat seats.
