The lodge is located on a river system close to the
Manitoba - Ontario border. The lodge features
picturesque east rapids with a drop of over 100
feet. This lake features some of the finest fishing
in Manitoba and holds trophy walleye, northern pike,
and perch. The lake is ten miles long with average
depths running from twelve to fourteen feet . The
deepest water to be found here is forty feet. Five
portage lakes are accessible from the lodge.
The lodge has two fully modern cabins with a total
capacity for up to 12 people. Each cabin is equipped
with an electric fridge/freezer, gas stove, hot and
cold running water, shower and flush toilet. There
are 5 new 14 ft Lund boats with swivel seats
equipped with new 8 hp motors.
OUTPOST #1
The River exits the lake and flows for 10 miles and
over four picturesque rapids before reaching the
largest rapids in the area. For the next ten miles
the river widens and slows down to a crawl, for you
to enjoy some of the best fishing Manitoba has to
offer. The river is always a popular destination for
some return guests.
Guests have no trouble catching shore lunch in a
hurry at this outpost. Appetites of the northern
pike and walleye seem to be working overtime on this
lake.
This 2 bedroom cabin comes equipped with screen
porch, solar electricity, hot and cold running
water, shower and flush toilets, electric fridge and
propane stove. We also provide 4 new 14 ft Lund
boats with 8 hp motors and swivel seats. A radio
phone is there for you also. All this and as in all
our camps, you're the only camp in the area.
OUTPOST #2
The Assinka River flows from Meat Lake for more than
twenty miles before entering the lake. The cabin is
located on the only island in the middle of the lake
and is an excellent all season walleye lake because
of its depth and structure. The Lake is three miles
wide and four miles long . Depth exceeds fifty feet
in some areas with the main lake ranging from
twenty- four to thirty- two ft. in depth. A boat and
motor await guests on three different lakes after a
short portage.

stove, hot and cold running water with shower and
flush toilet.The cabin has solar power electricity
with a gas generator as back up. The new 14 ft Lund
boats are equipped with 8 hp motors, swivel seats,
life cushions & jackets (large and extra large
only), nets, anchors, paddles, and mixed gas.
OUTPOST #3
The cabin is located on a island in the center of
the lake. This lake is an excellent walleye lake
where the catches average eighteen to twenty four
inches. Trophy walleyes and northern pike are also
present. The lake is two miles wide and six miles
long. Average depths are ten to fifteen feet with
some deeper areas. The fishing on this lake has been
strictly limited since 1990 yielding an excellent
stock of game fish. The largest northern caught so
far weighing in at an arm bending thirty-three
pounds.

stove, hot and cold running water with shower and

OUTPOST #4
This lake is one of the headwater lakes for the
Assinka River system and offers extensive cabbage
filled bays where the big pike rule. Walleye are
also abundant in these waters and provide many
enjoyable shore lunches.

long. Depths range from four to twenty five feet
with countless miles of wild shoreline.
Numerous other lakes and river systems are connected
to this lake, you can portage into three other
nearby lakes where boats and motors are provided.
This lake provides ideal conditions for big
northerns.

This lake has an incredible walleye and northern
pike fishery due to the fantastic spawning habitat,
the excellent water quality, and good structure for
both bait and predators. Fast water in the spring
and plenty of deep holes and reefs for summer, keeps
the action at this lake great all season.
This 2 bedroom 8 person cabin is located on a small
island with an incredible view and is the only cabin
on the lake. The cabin is equipped with propane
fridge, stove and wood stove for heat, solar and
propane lights with hot & cold running water with
shower. There are 4 - 14 ft fully equipped aluminum
boats with reliable 9.9 h.p. motors, life jackets (
large & X-large only), life cushions, swivel seats,
landing nets, paddles, and mixed gas.
